Willie Ed Hardin Jr.

Willie E. Hardin Jr., 65, of Onalaska, died Monday, September 18, 2017. Willie was married to the love of his life, Julie Amador, for over 20 years. After 30 years of employment at Mathy Construction, Willie retired as their safety director. Willie was an avid outdoorsman whose spirit was larger than life itself.

Willie is survived by his wife, Julie; step-son, Jayson Henderson; sister, Anita Hardin; brothers, Terry(Katie)Hardin, Eric Hardin; mother-in-law, Tamara (Ibeco) Amador; brother-in-law, Daniel Amador; nieces, Erica, Keesha, Alyssia, Melina. Willie was preceded in death by his parents and by a nephew, Dion Smith.

A visitation for family and friends will be held Sunday, September 24 from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse, 200 West Avenue South. A private family viewing will be held Monday, September 25 from 11:00 a.m. until a private family funeral service at 1:00 p.m. with Anita Hardin officiating. Burial will follow the service in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park, La Crosse.
