William P. Langen

William “Willy” Paul Langen, 34, of Houston, MN, passed away unexpectedly at home on October 16 ^th , 2022.  He was a loving husband, father, brother, uncle and friend. Willy was born on January 6 ^th , 1988, to Paul and Nancy (Loomis) Langen in Lacrosse, Wisconsin.  He grew up in Hokah on the family farm and met the love of his life, Amber (Kimmel) in July of 2004. They were later married on August 23 ^rd , 2008.

Willy was a calm and kind soul who loved nothing more than making children smile. He enjoyed demolition derby, hunting (including mushrooms, ginseng and antlers), fishing, the woods and he shared those hobbies with his one true passion in life, his family.  He worked a variety of jobs but the one he truly enjoyed most was logging with his family and friends.

Willy is survived by his wife, Amber; their 5 children, Alexis (18), Hunter (15), Chloe (14), Hayden (10), and Livyana (5); his parents Paul Langen (fiancée Ingred Haase) and Nancy (Mike Rogich) Loomis; siblings, Alex (Danielle) Langen, Justin Langen, Libby (fiancée Ezra VanRavenhorst) Stoltz, Eden Haase, and Orion Langen; his grandfather Larry Langen; aunts and uncles, Russ (Sarah) Loomis, Teresa (John Rabuck) Loomis, Kay (Doug) Twite, Dale (Ruth) Loomis, Barb Loomis Kappauf, Tim (Kathy) Loomis, Sarah (Tony) Wiste, Brian (Kathy) Langen and Jason Langen; in-laws, Kevin (Jill) Kimmel, Jodi Muller, Ryan (Geena) Kimmel and Brittany (Kyle) Lohfink; and many very special nieces and nephews the he loved very much and enjoyed spending time with.  He was proceeded in death by his grandparents, Sandra Langen and John and Bonnie Loomis, his uncles Robert Loomis and Mike Loomis and his infant cousin Anna Loomis.

A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, October 23 ^rd , 2022, at Four Seasons Community Center 900 N. Kingston St., Caledonia, MN 55921, from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.
