In retirement, Bill and Anne enjoyed traveling as snowbirds, taking Mystery Bus trips and other bus tours, including many to the Fireside Theater. Often times you could find them enjoying local outdoor concerts in the summer.

Bill is survived by his wife Anne; sons Dan (Karen), Tom (Pat), Bill (Renee) Dunn and daughter Pat (Mike) Jones; ten grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren; many brothers and sisters-in-law, nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Joan Garrett, a brother Jim Dunn, and great-granddaughter Morgan.
