Wendy Kay Hart

Wendy K. Hart, 41 of La Crosse, died unexpectedly from complications of Pneumonia and Sepsis on Sunday, December 3, 2017 at the Gundersen Health System, La Crosse. She was born in La Crosse on December 7, 1975 to Leslie E. and Anita M. (Dick) Hart III.

Wendy graduated from Onalaska High School in 1995. She enjoyed singing in choir, attending concerts and listening to music. She was a proud aunt who loved all of her relatives and knew all of their birthdays and phone numbers by heart! She had a gift for helping you laugh at a stubbed toe, and she will be remembered for her smile.

In addition to her parents of Onalaska, Wendy is survived by her two brothers; Josh (Nalini) Hart of Chicago, Ill., Zach (Danielle) Hart of Orlando, Fla., two nieces, Lilah and Vivienne and one nephew Remy. She is further survived by her grandmother Mildred Dick of Blair, Wis. and many other loving aunts uncles and cousins.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11am on her birthday, Thursday, December 7, 2017 at St. Patrick’s Catholic Church, Onalaska. Monsignor Steven Kachel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Onalaska City Cemetery. Friends may call on the family Wednesday evening from 5 until 7pm at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services Onalaska chapel; 907 Sand Lake Rd. Visitation will also be held at the church on Thursday from 10am until the time of mass. In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred and will be donated in her memory.
