Vivian Delores Rusin, 92, of LaCresent, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother went home to her Lord on Friday, January 17, 2020. She was born on Feb 2, 1927, to Josephine and Warren Johnson in Taconite, MN. She married her devoted husband, John, on Feb 2, 1946 in Marble, MN. She moved to LaCresent with her family in 1957. Her final years were spent at Laurel Manor in Onalaska, WI.
She devoted her life to all things family and left a beautiful legacy with the marriage she had and the family she raised. She enjoyed quilting, crocheting, puzzles, and her specials trips to a casino.
She is preceded in death by her husband, John, her sons, Richard and John, and five siblings. She is survived and dearly missed by children Edward Rusin, Anita (Charles) Harris, Christine Rusin, Rita (Allen) Voss; grandchildren Travis (Mia) Rusin, Scott Voss, Kyle (Abby) Voss, Jolynn Rusin, Zachary Rusin, Kari Wituck-Barrientos (Oscar), and Amanda Rusin, seven (soon to be eight) great- grandchildren, and many loving friends and relatives.
A private mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, Jan 21st d , at the Church of the Crucifixion with Rev. John Evans officiating.
A heartfelt thank you to the Gundersen Lutheran Hospice, Dr. Aaron Zivney, and the Laurel Manor staff for the wonderful and compassionate care given to Vivian and family.
