Vickie L. Wagner

Vickie Lynn Wagner, 57, of Onalaska passed away on October 30, 2022 at Gundersen Health System Hospital in La Crosse, WI. She was surrounded by her loving family.

She was born May 31, 1965, in La Crosse, to Philip and Lois Thaldorf.  Vickie graduated from Aquinas High School in 1983.  Vickie married Mark Wagner September 3, 1983 in La Crosse.

Vickie was employed by Cvikota Medical Business Services.  When her children were born, she became a stay at home mom raising her own children as well as many foster children throughout the years.  In addition to being a caregiver, Vickie also served on the board for Tornado Youth Hockey and the Coulee Region Girls Hockey programs for several years.  She enjoyed being outside by the family pool, watching sporting events for her children and grandchildren and baking. Vickie always put her children and grandchildren first.

Vickie and Mark were blessed with ten children and seven grandchildren.

She is survived by her husband, Mark; eight children, Monica (Stephan) Davis, Amber (Mark) Kulig, Megan (Mason) Sedlacek, Emily (David) Kelbel, Jamal (Alexis) Wagner, Bryce, Hunter, and Eli Wagner; nine grandchildren, Graycen and Bryden Davis, Emma and Aly Kulig, Caleb and Kennedy Sedlacek, Brooks and Beckett Kelbel, and Jameson Wagner; one brother, Jay (Debbie) Thaldorf; one sister, Karen (Butch) Miller and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Phil and Lois Thaldorf; children, Benjamin and Brianna Wagner; and brother-in-law, Jeff Wagner.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday, November 5, 2022, at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse. Deacon Bob Zietlow will officiate. Burial will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery in La Crosse. Visitation will be held on Friday, November 4, 2022, from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at the funeral home and one hour prior to the service on Saturday.
