Tracy Estelle Cleveland
September 14, 1971 — June 28, 2018
Tracy will be forever remembered by her sister, Linda Short (Schmitt), and brother, Lairn Schmitt Jr., and his wife, Trista. Tracy will also be lovingly remembered by Linda’s children Samantha (Gabriella and Zoey) and Bryant as well as Lairn Jr’s children Michael and RayAnna. Tracy will also be fondly remembered by numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and extended family members as well as cherished friends. She is preceded in death by her mother Rose Schmitt and father Lairn Schmitt Sr. She is also preceded in death by fiancé Joseph Grounds of Orlando Florida.
Tracy cherished her family and enjoyed spending as much time as possible by being surrounded by laughter and love of family members. Tracy worked for Gundersen Health System (Quartz) for many years as a Claims Adjuster and often times expressed how much she enjoyed working with many of her coworkers. She was also an active member of our community. Tracy enjoyed giving back and often times volunteered to local organizations serving those in need at the local community meal kitchen and sorting donations. She was proud to help all those less fortunate. Tracy was a kind hearted soul that loved and respected all people. She will be missed by many.
Committal services to be held at 1:00 p.m., Thursday, July 12th, in the chapel at Mormon Coulee Memorial Park in La Crosse with a private memorial luncheon for the family and close friends to follow. Please contact Tracy’s sister Linda for further information. Memorial donations in memory of Tracy may be sent to Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse or directly to her sister, Linda Short. Please contact Schumacher-Kish directly for mailing address. Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting family during this time of deep sorrow.
