Terry L. Mcroberts

Terry L. McRoberts, 77 of La Crosse, passed away on Monday, October 16, 2023, at the Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. He was born March 1, 1946, in La Crosse to Albert and Jeanette (McCann) McRoberts and graduated from La Crosse Central High School in 1964.

On August 6, 1966, he married Ramona Thornton in La Crosse, and after 30 years of marriage they divorced in 1997. Terry had served in the United States Army. He worked as a flooring installer for Roth Floor Mart and later for himself for over 30 years.

Terry was an avid Packers fan, and also enjoyed watching the Brewers, Bucks and Badgers. In his younger years he enjoyed fishing, bowling and duck hunting. Terry had also served as a dance teacher at WWTI.

Terry is survived by a son, Greg (Tamara) McRoberts of La Crosse; two daughters, Lisa (Chad) Weaver of Arcadia and Rebecca (Brent) DeCook of St. Charles, MN; 10 grandchildren, Zachary, Hannah, Carly, Madeline, William, Adam, Kaylie, Avery, Bryan (Elizabeth) and Brenden, along with four great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and an infant daughter, Christine.

A Memorial gathering will be held from 12 Noon until 3:00 PM Tuesday, October 24th with a prayer service and eulogy at 2:30 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Avenue South, La Crosse. A celebration of life will continue at 3:30 PM at the Moose Lodge, 1932 Ward Avenue, La Crosse.
