Tammy Jeanne Edens, beloved mother to two children, Brian Edens (40) and Mark Cvengros-Edens (37), her cherished dog Tia, and loving wife to Jim Edens (75), passed away at home surrounded by family, ending her five-year courageous battle with cancer, leaving a void her family cannot fill on June 15th.
She was born in Wausau, Wisconsin in 1949 to parents James Campbell Sr. and Gloria Campbell. Also, where she met the love of her life and had their first date on October 14th, 1967, after having met each other for the first time while attending school. April 2nd, 1969, Jim proposed, and after returning from Vietnam, they were married on April 17, 1971.
Tammy was a devoted mother to her children who were her pride and joy. She always said their birth changed her life for the better and she loved being a mother. Tammy was known for her love of gardening, bird watching, motorcycle rides, and family camping trips.
Tammy was preceded in death by her mother, father, and sister. She is survived by her husband Jim, sons Brian and Mark, and son-in-law Michael, who will never forget the love she brought to their lives. Tammy requested a cremation. We will hold a visitation service welcome to all from 12 pm to 3 pm on Saturday, June 22nd at Schumacher Kish Funeral Home in La Crescent.
Tammy's journey touched the lives of many, leaving behind cherished memories and a legacy of strength, resilience, and love.
