Sylvia Bernice Benson

Sylvia Bernice Benson from La Crosse Wisconsin, 99, went to be with the Lord on April 4th. She was born to the parents of Obert Frauenkron and Lillian Papenfuss on September 4, 1924 in La Crosse Wisconsin.   She married Harry Victor Benson on November 29, 1946.  She was a hard worker and worked for the K-Mart Corporation for 41 years.  She loved baking cookies and bread for her family and friends.

Sylvia was preceded in death by her husband Harry Victor Benson.

Sylvia is survived by her son Dale Alfred Benson and his wife Terry of Phoenix Az and 6 grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.  Lisa married to Brandon Miller of Double Oak Texas, Sara married to Daniel Porte of Roy Washington, Andrea married to Anthony Smith of Sun City Arizona, Jason Benson of Phoenix Arizona, Sophia married to Rick Low of Paradise Valley Arizona, and Sonja married to Sean O'Keefe of Phoenix Arizona.

Services will be held at Schumacher-Kish on April 8 at 10 am viewing and 11 am service with graveside following at Oak Grove Cemetery. Pastor Robert Wassermann will officiate.
