Susan Elizabeth Littlejohn

Susan Elizabeth Littlejohn was reunited with her true love on January 30, 2020. She was born on June 29, 1951 to Stanley and Margaret (Eckert) Powell in La Crosse. She attended Aquinas High School and then graduated high school in Yuma, AZ. She married Howard Littlejohn on December 6, 1969. She became the loving mother to her daughter Tracy and son Troy. Her grandsons became the center of her world for the last 28 years. Susan also had a larger family that was so dear to her heart through her husband’s Ho-Chunk kinship. She and her husband also opened their home and hearts to family and friends throughout their marriage.

Susan is survived by daughter Tracy (Lucas), son Troy (Dana), grandsons Powell and Brendan, sisters Marilyn (Ken) Grosskopf and Cindy (Mike) Nevins, brother Glenn, and several nieces, nephews, and in-laws. She was preceded in death by her husband Howard, her parents, step-mother Geneva, brothers James, Blaine, Jerry, and Ronald, step-brothers Gordon, Ed and John Elmer, and step-sisters Beverly (Paul) Kohlwey and Barbara Lakin.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, February 5, 2020 at 11:00 AM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse. Pastor Benjamin Morris will officiate. Burial will be in the Mt. Hope Cemetery, Hokah, MN. Friends may call at the funeral home on Tuesday from 5:00 – 7:00 PM and again on Wednesday from 10:00 AM until the time of services.
