Susan Jo Gallagher

Susan Jo Gallagher, 67 of La Crosse died Monday, September 11, 2017 at her home. Susan was born March 4, 1950 in La Crosse to Harold and Leona (Puent) Bashaw. She received her Associate degree in electronics and worked in this field until her retirement.

Susan also served her country in the Army reserve and retired after twenty plus years of service. Her family, faith, friends and cat Sandy were the most endeared parts of her life.

Susan is survived by sons; Andy (fiancé Erin), Eric (Deb) and David ( fiancé Clare Peter); brothers, John (Lois), Tom (Mary Ann) and Peter Bashaw; sister-in-law, Grace Bashaw and brother-in-law, Jerry Grossbach; many nieces and nephews and special friends; Renee (Bill) Druliner and Lorraine Gallagher. She was preceded in death by her parents; brothers, Paul, Bob, and Daniel Bashaw; sisters, Sister Barbara Bashaw, OSB, Elaine Grossbach and Evelyn Kramer; sister-in-law, Pam Bashaw and brother-in-law, Clarence Kramer.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 11:30 A.M. Friday, September 22 ^nd at Mary, Mother of the Church Parish, 2006 Weston Street, La Crosse with Rev. Brian D. Konopa officiating. A private family burial will take place in Crucifixion Cemetery, La Crescent, MN. Visitation will be held at the church on Thursday from 5-7 PM where a vigil service will be held at 5:00 P.M. and again on Friday from 10:30 A.M. until the time of services.
