Stacy Ann Reed

Stacy Ann Reed, age 49, of La Crescent MN, passed away Thursday, June 11, 2020 at her home. Stacy was born on February 28, 1971, to Emmett and Jeannette Wick in Winona MN., the youngest of three children. She attended Winona Schools and upon completion went on to attended beauty school and finished her career at Walman Optical in La Crosse, WI.

She married Thomas Reed on April 19 ^th , 1997 in Winona MN. Her and Thomas raised three sons’ together, Jeremy Robert, Dylan Dean and Collin Michael. They later divorced. She enjoyed spending time at her son’s baseball and football games and going for ice cream afterwards.

She loved the outdoors and expressed this through her photography. Taking pictures of her son’s, granddaughters and relaxing settings around the tristate area, was something she enjoyed. She found peace in spending time with her dog Eli and throwing the ball for him at the park. A good game of pool, cards and a night around the bonfire telling stories with her family were some of her most special moments.

She became a member of the La Crescent MN Applefest Committee and found great pride in getting to walk the parades with her Granddaughter, Jayden.

She is survived by her three sons, Jeremy (Amanda) Wick of La Crosse WI, Dylan Reed (Haley Kirkham) and Collin Reed, both of La Crescent MN; granddaughters, Jayden and Brielle Wick; Brother Robert (Michele) Wick of Rushford MN and sister Linda (Kurt) Uhlendorf of Stockton MN; her mother Jeanne Kulas of Onalaska; nieces and nephews; and her special friend James Kleinbrink. She is proceeded in death by her father Emmett Wick and Stepfather Jerome “Jerry” Kulas.

Visitation will be held from 5pm until 7pm on Friday June 19, 2020 at the Schumacher-Kish Funereal home in La Crescent MN. Stacy will be laid to rest during a private family ceremony, at a time designated by the family.
