Stacey Lynn Soos, 51, passed away in her home on Thursday, January 20, 2022. She was born March 5, 1970, to Thomas and Linda (Mooney) Hartung. Stacey was a free spirit and will be missed by so many.
Stacey worked for Century Link for over 20 years and most recently for Kwik Trip. She would always say that she loved her job at Kwik Trip because she got to interact with people. She was for sure a people person. Stacey would go out of her way to help others, even when she needed help herself. She always spoke her mind and one of her favorite sayings was “it is what it is.” Her sense of humor and quick come backs could always make you laugh and smile. Stacey graduated from Central High School in La Crosse in 1988.
Stacey is survived by her parents, Thomas and Linda Hartung; her brother, Kevin Hartung; her two children, Kassidy Soos and Kevin J. Soos, Jr.; and also, by the light of her life, her grandson, Hudson. She had just found out that she had a new grandson coming in April and was looking forward to meeting him. She is further survived by her former mother-in-law, Linda Soos; and by many aunts, uncles, cousins, and nieces that she thought the world of. Lainee and Gracee Hartung, she thought the world of you two girls. She was preceded in death by her then father-in-law, Ronald Soos; her maternal grandparents, Sylvester and Dolores Mooney of La Crosse; and her paternal grandparents, Charles Hartung and Marlys Johnson of La Crosse.
