Shannon K. Frydenlund

Shannon K. Frydenlund, age 49 of La Crosse, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2024 at her home. She was born March 5, 1974 to Jerry Frydenlund and Karen (Remus) Schermerhorn.

She grew up in West Salem, WI and attended school there, where she graduated from West Salem High School in 1992. In her free time, she enjoyed spending time with family and friends, taking rides on the motorcycle, decorating her home and spending time with Rizzo, her beloved dog. She was a proud mother and she put that above all else, when it came to her son. She was a dedicated home care provider and loved the many people she worked with. Shannon had the biggest heart and would do anything for anyone. She will be dearly missed by all whose lives crossed paths with her.

She is survived by her husband Ronald Tetzlaff and his children Nicole, Deisree, Richy, Brianna (Jake); her son C.J. Molling; her father Jerry; step-dad, Dale (Chris) Schermerhorn; brother Eric (Jessica) Frydenlund and their children Daulton, Dawson, Corbin, and Ansel; brother Adam (Erin) Frydenlund and their children Kaylie, Kiah and Kinsley; sister Amanda Schermerhorn and her children Mallory and Ilah; brother Tony (Jo) Schermerhorn and their children Shayne and Nicholas.

Shannon was preceded in death by her mother Karen; her maternal grandfather Ansel Remus; and maternal grandmother Ila Remus.

A visitation will be held Thursday, January 18th from 5:00-8:00 p.m. at Schumacher-Kish Onalaska Funeral Home, 907 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska, WI 54650. A closing prayer by Pastor Randy Williamson will began at 8:00 p.m.
