Sally Ann Brown, 85, of Onalaska, WI passed away on Tuesday, October 18, 2022. Sally was born in St. Paul, MN on December 12, 1936, to Frank and Anna (Lindberg) Carlson. She married Harry Roy Brown on June 25, 1958.
Sally graduated from Murray High School in St. Paul in 1954. She went back to college after raising her children and obtained a BA in Art History from the University of Minnesota – Minneapolis in 1982. Sally was an avid seamstress, sewing a variety of clothing and draperies. She spent many winters with Harry at their home in Tucson enjoying walks, museums, restaurants and especially visits from their grandchildren. She loved making Grandma Carlson’s Swedish meatballs and pancakes for everyone. Sally had a marvelous sense of humor and was always smiling and laughing at every family gathering.
She is survived by daughters, Lori (Joseph) Linzmeyer of Onalaska, WI and Linda (Robert Conrad) Hill of Plymouth, MI; four wonderful grandchildren, Brad (Julia) Hill, Daina (John) Bryant, Anna (Dylan) Stensgard, Kelsey Linzmeyer; and great-granddaughter Corrina Hill. She was preceded in death by her husband, Harry, and brother, Harry Somme.
A private family burial will take place on Friday, October 21 st , at 12:30 p.m., at Sunset Memorial Park, Minneapolis, MN.
