Ruth Jane Hale

Ruth Jane Hale, 95, of La Crosse, passed away on Thursday, March 29, 2018 at the Bethany Riverside Nursing Facility in La Crosse. She was born on June 8, 1922 in La Crosse, WI to Edward and Ursula (Opitz) Hale. She graduated from Aquinas High School in 1940. After graduation she worked at Electric Auto-Lite Company until 1959 when the plant closed.

Ruth is survived by her sister Ursula (Frank) Pazera of West Bend, WI, a brother Edward Hale of La Crosse, a sister-in-law Mary Ellen (Gray) Hale along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, a brother Robert Hale, sister Doris (John) Schiltz and a sister-in-law Mary (Kratzer) Hale.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:30 AM on Wednesday, April 4, 2018 at the Cathedral of St. Joseph the Workman – Marian Chapel. Msgr. Charles Stoetzel will officiate. Burial will follow in the Catholic Cemetery. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 9 AM until the time of service. The Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, La Crosse Chapel is assisting the family.
