Russell Earl Mobley Ii

March 22, 1953 — February 5, 2024

We mournfully announce the passing of Russell Earl Mobley II, 70, of Onalaska, WI. Russell passed away peacefully on February 5th, 2024.

Russell, born to Doyle & Osha Merle Cook, took his first breath on March 22nd, 1953. He graduated from Round Rock, TX in 1970. Raised by his grandparents Russell Earl & Ellie Mobley. Brother to David Cook, and Father to 4 children, Keziah Jones, Russell Mobley, Marjorie Countryman, and Doyle Mobley.

He lived a full life with Doyle at his side till his passing. Now in the next life he will be reunited with his son Russell Mobley. May they find peace, love, and redemption in Heaven and be renewed in our Lord Jesus, Amen.

In Russell's life, he devoted most of his time to raising Doyle, fixing cars, playing guitar, making furniture and writing. We will miss him dearly.

One of Russell's poems:

She said she wants a baby

She said she wants a baby,

I hope she understands.

It's another pair of feet,

another pair of hands.

It's another little mouth to feed, another little heart.

Another little person, another little part.

Another mouthy young one, to discipline and raise.

Another little mind, just waiting to be praised.

Another pair of glasses, or braces for the teeth.

Another pair of shoes, for those precious little feet.

Another time to worry, of what the future holds.

Another time for hope, as dreams are being told.

Another little bond, to carry through this life.

Another little part, of a husband and his wife.

Another little person, to carry on each day. She said she wants a baby, she held one just today.
