Rozalyn "Rossi" Thomas Weber

October 20, 1977 — November 1, 2022

A beautiful soul was lifted to heaven on November 1, 2022, when our dear Rozalyn “Rossi” Thomas Weber, age 45, passed away peacefully in her home.

Rossi was born October 20, 1977, in La Crosse to Michael and Cynthia (Srdich) Weber. She attended school in La Crosse and graduated from Logan High School in 1996. Rossi was a star athlete in many sports, especially basketball, and excelled in school. After high school, Rossi attended the University of Minnesota and Arizona State University to study anthropology. Later on, she went on to become a Certified Nursing Assistant.

Rossi had a strong faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and would often call upon Him for strength and to give thanks.  She was resilient to all of life’s challenges.  Rossi inspired others and was always willing to listen and offer comforting words of advice. She taught others how to become better people, to be kind, and to not pass along judgement of others.  Rossi always found the good in people, and her kind heart and beautiful sensitive soul touched the lives of many.

Rossi found joy spending time with her beloved family and friends, and she was adored by her dogs and her cat Ellie, who gave her much love and comfort.

Those who were blessed to know Rossi will remember her as having a love for mother nature, and an avid passion for fishing, whether it be panfish or bass in Birchwood, WI or deep-sea fishing off the shores of Cabo San Lucas. Rossi loved to travel and was blessed to have been able to travel throughout the United States, as well as the Caribbean islands, Mexico, and South America.

One of Rossi’s favorite past times was watching old TV shows and movies, and she loved to listen to Rock-n-Roll, having had the pleasure of seeing many great bands in her younger days.

Rossi is survived by her father, Michael (Peggy) Weber, her mother Cynthia (James) Koby, brother Quinton (Jamie) Weber, sisters Sarah (Tim) Stefanczyk, Chanda (Cody) Koby-Allen, Erica (Lyle) Fox, nieces and nephews Noelle and Graham Weber, and Lauren Rusch, stepsisters Natalie, Christina, Brittany, and Victoria, and many dearly loved aunts, uncles, cousins, and special friends.

She was preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Louis and Janice Srdich, paternal grandparents Queto, Elmer and Caroline Weber, cousin Miranda Roellich, and uncles Thomas Srdich and Barry Schaller.

Rossi’s kindness and loving nature will forever be in our hearts.

“No farewell words were spoken,

No time to say good-bye,

You were gone before we knew it,

And only God knows why”
