Rosella Helen Bauer

Rosella Helen Bauer, 82 of Nodine, Minn., was called to her eternal home in Heaven on Sunday, August 27, 2017. She was born on February 1, 1935 to Ralph and Lillian (Kramer) Proudfoot. On May 23, 1959 she was united in marriage to Bob Bauer in the church parsonage. He passed away on July 27, 2014. Rosella had worked at the Nodine Truck Stop for twenty-five years as a baker.

She is survived by her four children; Betty (Randy) Vanderzee, Brenda (Randy) Erdmann, Bobby (Jennifer) Bauer, Richard “Butch” (Bridget) Bauer; fourteen grandchildren, nine great grandchildren and brothers and sisters in law John Bauer, Inez Holstad, Phyllis Wood and Carol (Donnie) Schnitzler.   In addition to her husband Bob, she was preceded in death by two infant brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11am on Friday, September 1, 2017 at St. John’s Evangelical Lutheran Church, Nodine. Pastor Dennis Harbach will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Friends may call on the family Thursday evening from 5 until 8pm in the church multi- purpose room and one hour prior to the services Friday morning at the church. Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation services La Crescent chapel is in charge of arrangements.
