Rosealie J. Williams

Rosealie J. Williams, 78, of La Crosse, WI passed away on Monday June 29, 2020 at the home of her grandson. She was born on June 10, 1942 in La Crosse to James and Zorah (Schilling) Jackson. She married Leslie “Jack” Williams on October 21, 1961 in La Crosse. Rose enjoyed making crafts, Christmas presents and Halloween costumes. She also enjoyed boating and camping on the river. She loved bowling, traveling and baseball.

She is survived by one daughter Kitty (Dean) Van Riper of Holmen, two sons Alan (Celine) Williams of Hastings, MN and George Williams of Georgetown, TX, ten grandchildren and twelve great grandchildren, one brother Arnold “Butch” (Betty) Abraham of Bloomington, MN. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and a sister.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Friday, July 3, 2020 at Immanuel Lutheran Church, 1201 Avon St., La Crosse. Pastor David Leistekow will officiate. Visitation will be held at the Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse on Thursday from 4-7 PM and again at the church on Friday from 10 AM until the time of service. Social distancing guidelines will be observed.
