Ronald "Ron" J. Knutson

Ronald J. “Ron” Knutson, 75, of Holmen, WI, passed away peacefully at Gundersen Health System ICU in La Crosse on Monday, April 14, 2025. He was born on January 2, 1950 to Orton and Leona (Tauscher) Knutson. Ron and his wife Laurel Lee both graduated from Central High School in 1969 and were married on October 11, 1969 on a beautiful day. Ron was a long-haul trucker for most of his working life including Gateway Foods, Fleming Foods, Walmart and Bonsack.

Ron is survived by his wife Laurel Lee, son Eric, daughter Erin (John) Wilber, and his brother Gerald Knutson, grandchildren Andrew, Michael (Christina), Marissa, Brianna, and Kyle. He also had four great-grandchildren, Lorelei, Elliot, Montgomery, and Margot Marissa. Ron was preceded in death by his parents and in-laws Bernard and Delthe Schumacher.

Ron’s family would like to give a big thank-you to the nurses and doctors in ICU for the wonderful care that was given to Ron during this very difficult time, especially Jo and Kiley.

Our beloved Ron will be greatly missed by his family.
