Ronald Richard Burns, Sr.

Ronald Richard Burns Sr., 64, of Holmen, WI passed away at home with loving family at his side on Tuesday, July 12, 2022.

Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, Kenneth and Doreen Burns. Left to cherish his memory are his two sisters, Diane Soto and Nancy Tanner; his two brothers, David Burns Sr. and Michael Burns; the love of his life of 27 years, Lavonne Wehrs; his children, Travis Burns, Johnathan Lee Wehrs, Ronald Richard Burns Jr., Kenneth Russell Burns and Breanna Marie Wehrs; as well as his extended family, Brianna Pergande and Tim Pergande, and their children, Alysha, Matthew and Nicky, along with uncles, aunts, cousins and many close friends who were family to him.

Ronald was born September 15, 1957, in Milwaukee, WI and lived in Wisconsin his entire life. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed hunting and fishing with family members and friends. Anyone that truly knew Ronald, knew he had such a big heart. He cherished and loved his family and friends very much.

"In life we loved you dearly, in death we love you still. In our hearts you hold a place that no one could ever fill. It broke our hearts to lose you, but you didn’t go alone. For part of us went with you, the day God took you home."

A memorial service will be held at 5:00 p.m., Tuesday, July 26 ^th , at Christ is Lord Free Lutheran Church, 1269 County Road PH in Onalaska.  Rev. Jonathan Unverzagt will officiate.  Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m., and a luncheon will follow the service at the church.
