Roger T. Stellick

Roger Thomas Stellick, 79, of Hokah, MN passed away on Friday, February 23, 2018 at Caledonia Care and Rehab, Caledonia, MN. He was born on February 11, 1939 in La Crosse, WI to Alvin and Hilda (Boeder) Stellick. He was baptized at Mt. Calvary Ev. Lutheran Church in La Crosse. The family moved to rural Hokah, MN. He was confirmed at Zion Ev. Lutheran Church in Hokah. Roger served in the U.S. Air Force from 1959-1964. He was united in marriage to Mercedes Mouro on February 5, 1962. She preceded him in death on April 5, 1999.

Roger is survived by three sons James (Vicki) of Florida, Michael of Arizona and Oscar (Danielle) of South Carolina, five grandchildren, two brothers Norman (Betty) of Rhinelander, WI and Jerome (Lynn) of Tyler, TX, one sister Joan (Harold) Kraskey of Winona, MN along with many nieces and nephews. In Addition to his wife he was preceded in death by his parents, a sister and brother-in-law Helen (Gordon) Sylling and a nephew Robert.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at First Ev. Lutheran Church, 414 Main St. La Crescent, MN. Pastor John Unnasch will officiate. Burial will be held at a later date in St. Matthew’s Lutheran Cemetery in Stoddard, WI. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service.
