Roger Chase

Roger V. Chase, 76, of Onalaska, died at his home on Tuesday, March 20, 2018.

He was born September 5, 1941, in La Crosse to Virgil V. and Anna (Knudson) Chase.  He was a life-long resident of Onalaska and a 1959 graduate of Onalaska High School.  Roger worked for many years at Esser Glass in La Crosse before retiring.  He was a member of the Red Wing Collectors Society.

He was preceded in death by his parents, and his cousin and best friend, John Knudson.  Roger is survived by cousins, Gail (Jim) Mumm and Lois Riniker; John’s children who were very close to Roger, Debbie (Steven) Furlano, Sue (Wayne) Wrobel and David (Christine) Knudson; and their families, Jake (Katie) Wrobel and their son, Easton, Brian (Stacy Fahey) Wrobel, Angela (Mark) Thoma, James (Nora) Furlano and their daughter, Adaline, Kaia Knudson and Sierra Knudson; and very special friends, Odie, Jim and Roy.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, March 31 ^st , at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 907 Sand Lake Road, Onalaska.  Pastor James Mumm will officiate.  Burial will follow in Onalaska City Cemetery.  Family and friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service on Saturday.
