Roberta Jean Vodde

Roberta Jean Vodde, 70, of West Salem, WI passed away on Sunday, April 23, 2017 at Mayo Clinic Health System in La Crosse. She was born on November 18, 1946 in Madison, WI to Harold and Doris (Brown) Buss. She married Robert Vodde on February 5, 1972 in La Crosse, and they were happily married for 45 years. Roberta had worked at La Crosse Rubber Mills for @ 30 Years. She loved going to rummage sales and craft shows with her family. She enjoyed collecting purses and custom jewelry. She also loved her cats ‘Sabrina’, ‘Zack’ and ‘Abbey’.

Roberta is survived by her husband Robert, two daughters Tammy Vodde and Cathy (Jason) Lee both of La Crosse, three grandchildren Jenna Lee, Jason Lee, Jr. and Jackson Lee, two sisters Mary (Bill) Russell of Albuquerque, NM and Pat Tentis of La Crosse, one brother Tom (Jane) Buss of Madison, WI, numerous brothers and sisters-in-law, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents.

A memorial gathering for Roberta will be held on Friday, April 28, 2017 from 11:30 AM – 1:00 PM at the Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse. A Prayer Service will be held at 1:00 PM with Rev. Lawrence B. Berger officiating. In lieu of flowers memorials are preferred.
