Robert G. Snodgrass

Robert G. Snodgrass Jr. passed away unexpectedly on January 9, 2025. Robert was born to Rebecca and Robert Snodgrass on August 8, 2001 in Wisconsin Rapids, WI.

Robert graduated from Logan High School in La Crosse, WI in 2019. Robert was an incredible athlete, excelling in Football and Wrestling as well as Track and Field. Robert could be seen along the sidelines or the side of a wrestling mat encouraging his fellow athletes and friends, and sharing his excitement for the sports he loved. Roberts high school education left it's mark through his Tech Ed classes. He had a passion for the construction industry and thoroughly enjoyed all aspects of learning how to build everything from side tables to sheds. After high school, Robert pursued his love for the trades working at Interstate Roofing in La Crosse, WI. Interstate Roofing is where Robert learned that friends can become family. He was so proud to share what he knew about construction and would take on a project for anyone who needed a helping hand. Robert also enjoyed deer hunting, fishing and an occasional bonfire when his busy schedule allowed. Spending time outdoors with his friends and family was where Robert was happiest.

Robert is survived by his parents, Rebecca and Robert Snodgrass; sisters, Molly (Bryon) Olsen, Rachael Snodgrass, and Emma Snodgrass. He is further survived by his maternal Grandparents, William and Jane Binnebose; paternal Grandparents, Robert and Cheryl Snodgrass; two nephews and one niece. Robert is also survived by many aunts, uncles, cousins and so many friends. Robert is also lovingly remembered by his girlfriend, Kendal Nissen, who brought out the best in Bert. 

Bert was so incredibly loved by so many people in his life. Robert loved to laugh with family and friends, and will forever be remembered by his infectious laugh and the twinkle in his beautiful blue eyes.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am on Thursday, January 16, 2025 at Olivet Lutheran Church on French Island. Visitation will be held at the church from 9:00am until the time of the services.
