Robert H. Kasparek

Robert H. Kasparek, 78 of La Crosse passed away at the Mulder Health Care Center in West Salem on Sunday, November 27, 2022. Bob was born June 2, 1944, in Prairie Du Chien, WI to Helen Kasparek. He graduated from Prairie Du Chien High School in 1962 and then joined the United States Navy. After his service in the Navy, he attended the University of Wisconsin-La Crosse and graduated in 1972. On June 12, 1971, he married Carol Stach and they had two children. Bob was a Mortgage Options Loan Officer a First Federal Savings and Loan from 1972 until 1983. He then started Mortgage Options in 1983 and left there in 1988. He was diagnosed with dementia in 2007. One of Bob’s greatest accomplishments was being sober for 33 years. Bob is survived by his wife, Carol of 51 years. He is also survived by his daughter, Jenni Ward; three grandchildren, Kyle Ward, Grace Ward and Gavin Kasparek. In addition, he is survived by his half brother and sisters. He was preceded in death by his son, John Kasparek on November 5, 2013, his mother Helen and too many others to list. Dementia stole you from us way too soon. We love you and you will be missed. Per Bob’s request there will be no services.
