Robert "Bob" L. Bernett

Robert L. “Bob” Bernett, 65, of rural DeSoto, died on Friday, January 12, 2018 in his home. He was born on July 18, 1952 in Sparta, WI to Dale and Evaline (Blegen) Bernett. Bob attended Viroqua High School. He was an avid Packers fan, and enjoyed hunting and fishing. Bob loved his dogs, probably more than people.
He is survived by his daughter, Tammy Armitage of Cashton, three grandsons, Darren, Dalton, and Matthew, his father Dale (Peggy) Bernett, a sister Kristen (Todd) Reichert, a brother Tom (Carol) Bernett, and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother and a sister, Karen Pedersen.
A memorial gathering will be held on Friday, January 26 th , 2018 from 5:00 – 7:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral Home Cremation Services of La Crosse. A time to share memories of Bob will begin at 6:00 PM.
