Robert George Asfoor

Robert George Asfoor, 77, of La Crosse, died on Sunday, August 15, 2021. He was born on February 23, 1944 in La Crosse to Michael and Betty Asfoor.

Bob will always be remembered for being a wonderful brother with the sparkling smile that lit up the room. His warm personality was overwhelming to everyone who came into contact with him. He was always happy and made everyone feel welcome. His family thanks him for teaching all of us patience and compassion. Bob accepted the gift of life from God without question or reservation and lived his life to the fullest.

He was brave in life and death. He passed with dignity and grace in his sleep as the gentleman he always was.

Bobby thanks the entire staff at Bethany St Joseph’s Care Center and Mayo Clinic for their extraordinary care during his tenure.

He is preceded in death by his father Michael Asfoor Sr., his mother Betty and brother Marshall. He is survived by his three brothers Michael Asfoor Jr., Ronald and Wayne along with his two sisters Jacqueline and Sharon and seven nieces and nephews and five great nieces and nephews.

A private service will be held at the La Crosse Catholic Cemetery Chapel at 10 AM on September 17, 2021.
