Robert A. Roden

Robert A. Roden, age 80, of La Crosse, passed away on Friday, February 25, 2022, at Lakeview Health Center in West Salem. He was born in La Crosse on July 15, 1941, to Helen E. Roden (Brunke) and James Roden of La Crosse. Bob worked at Train Company for 25 years and also worked several years at Inland printing and UWL. He enjoyed bowling, working in the yard, and watching Packers, Brewers, and Badger games. Bob is survived by his wife of 35 years, Claudette “Darlene” Roden; stepson, David Sr. (Sandy) Silbaugh; daughter-in-law, Nancy Silbaugh; sister-in-law, Pat Baker; step grandsons, David Jr. (Jen) Silbaugh and Brandon (Barb) Silbaugh; his very special niece, Charlene Roden; 2 nieces and 2 nephews. Bob was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, William and James Roden; stepson, Michael Silbaugh; and brother-in-law, Roger Baker. He will be deeply missed. Memorial Services will be held at 12:00 noon on Wednesday, March 2, 2022 at Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services - La Crosse Chapel, 200 West Ave. S., La Crosse, WI 54601. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Pastor Roger Sachs is officiating.
