Richard W. Hass

Richard W. Hass, 95 of La Crosse, WI passed away on Thursday, June 18, 2020 at the Hillview Health Care Center in La Crosse. He was born on June 11, 1925 in Leon, Wisconsin to Louis and Lena (Hagen) Hass. He married Hallie Fackler on December 30, 1950 in Minneapolis, Minnesota. He had worked for Trane Co. as a welder for 32 years.

He is survived by his wife Hallie, one son Charles (Katie) Hass of Parkview, Illinois, four grandsons James & Ethan of Illinois and Michael & Andrew of Madison, WI, a son-in-law David Rolnick along with nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, a daughter Linda Rolnick, one sister and four brothers.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Wednesday, June 24, 2020 at First Evangelical Lutheran Church, 400 West Ave. S., La Crosse. Pastor Roger Sachs will officiate. Burial will follow in Mormon Coulee Memorial Park. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday from 10 AM until the time of service. Social distancing guidelines will be observed.
