Rhoda Vera (Bartling) Wobeck was called to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Sunday, July 7th, 2024. Rhoda was born December 30, 1940 to Rev. Frederick and Vera Bartling. Rhoda was born again as God’s redeemed child in Christ when she was baptized in the name of the Triune God. While Clyde finished his education Rhoda taught at Nicollet and Courtland, MN. During Rhoda’s teaching ministry she especially enjoyed working with children who had special needs. Rhoda also enjoyed working at Gundersen Lutheran for 30+ years. She touched many lives throughout her life. In her final years she enjoyed being an active member in the Havenwood community.

Rhoda met the love of her life Clyde Wobeck at Bethany Lutheran College and married in 1962 by Rhoda’s father, Pastor Frederick Bartling at Immanuel Lutheran Church, Freeport, IL. They enjoyed 57 years of God’s Blessings together. God blessed them with 3 children, 9 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Rev. Matthew Wobeck and son Gideon Wobeck.
