Randy "Pa" J. Nagle

September 23, 1950 — November 13, 2022

Randy J. “Pa” Nagle, 72, of Onalaska, WI, passed away on Sunday, November 13, 2022, at the Gundersen Health System in La Crosse. He was born September 23, 1950, in La Crosse to Edward and Elrose (Murphy) Nagle, Jr. Randy graduated from Logan High School in 1968 and proudly served his country in the United States Army until his honorable discharge in February 1972. He then continued to serve in the Wisconsin Army National Guard. On May 19, 1984, he married Jeanette Grasby in Onalaska. Randy worked as a warehouse manager for Sierzant Bakery Supply Company and later for Dalco Janitorial Supply Company until his retirement in 2015. Randy was a member of American Legion Post 52, 40&8 Voiture 830 in La Crosse, and Onalaska Jaycees. He was a league bowler and, for many years, the first baseman on several men’s league softball teams. Randy was a devoted Louis L’Amour reader and constantly searched for a L’Armour novel he had not yet read. As an avid Packer fan, Randy’s friends and family knew they could find him in front of a television on Sunday afternoons. He often kept the phone near him in case the coaching staff wanted to call him for advice during the game. Above all, Randy loved his family and placed them above everything else. Randy is survived by his wife, Jeanette of Onalaska; five children, Jessica (Tain) Mikesell of Pigeon Falls, WI, Claire Nagle of Onalaska, John (Jenny) Nagle of Sparta, Jason (Tammy) Cornish of Ponchatoula, LA and Jillian (Rusty) Smith of Prairie du Chien, WI; 14 grandchildren; seven brothers and sisters, Pat (Gerry) Christianson of La Crosse, Jim Nagle of Onalaska, Cheryl Crawford of La Crosse, Barb (Steve) Hoff of La Crescent, MN, Debbie (Dean) Seidel of La Crosse, Kerri Nagle of La Crosse and Janet Bahr of Holmen. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Scott Nagle; a sister, Donna Johnson; triplet brothers, Kent, Kevin, and Kurt; brothers-in-law, Dave Crawford and Floyd Johnson; and a sister-in-law, Dee Dee Nagle. Per Randy’s wishes, there will be no services. The family would like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Randy’s grandchildren, Jacob and Kaden Cornish, for their outstanding and loving care.
