Peggy Ann Benrud

Peggy Ann Benrud, 61 of La Crosse passed away at her home on Tuesday, May 22, 2018. She was born December 27, 1956 in La Crosse to Raymond and Margaret “Mary” (Volk) Keller and graduated from Central High School in 1975. Peggy had worked at the La Crosse Center and for Quad City Sealers. She also volunteered at the Myrick Park Zoo. Peggy enjoyed metal detecting, camping, fishing, antiquing and spending time with her family, especially her grandkids.

Peggy is survived by three children; Nicole Benrud of Bangor, WI, Andy (Siri) Benrud and Matt (Jenny) Benrud both of Menomonie, WI; her fiance’, Kevin Burke of La Crosse; seven grandchildren, Bjorne, Vivian, Alexis, Allysa, Landon, Clayton and Camden; a sister, Sherri Keller of La Crosse; three brothers, Dan Keller of Barre Mills, WI, Ken Keller of King, WI and Jim (Nancy) Keller of La Crosse. She is further survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Peggy was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers, Randy and Mark Keller.

A Celebration of Life will be held from 3-5 PM on Saturday, May 26 ^th at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Avenue South, La Crosse.
