In Loving Memory of Paul James McCabe
With heavy hearts, we bid farewell to a remarkable man whose life was a testament to love, laughter, and boundless creativity. "Da," as he was affectionately known, passed away on Monday, May 13, 2024, leaving behind a legacy that will forever echo in the hearts of those who knew him.
Da was a man of many talents and passions, but perhaps his greatest gift was his ability to bring joy and laughter to those around him. With his quick wit and endless repertoire of stories, he could entertain a room like no other. His presence was a beacon of warmth and happiness, leaving an indelible mark on all who had the pleasure of knowing him.
A true craftsman at heart, Da had a knack for turning the ordinary into something extraordinary. From his woodworking projects to his prowess on the golf course, he poured his heart and soul into everything he pursued. His creativity knew no bounds and most of his projects are “almost done”.
But above all, Paul was a devoted family man. His love for his wife, Jackie, and his daughters Sara and Shannon knew no bounds, and his adoration for his grandkids, Austin, Anna, Cullen, and Sam was evident in every smile and embrace. Paul also cherished his relationships with his bonus family, Jason, Nick, Griffin, and Sammer. He found his greatest joy in their happiness, and his presence will be deeply missed at family gatherings and celebrations (as well as his choy suey).
As we mourn the loss of Paul, Da, U.P. (Uncle Paul), Bob, whichever name you knew him by, let us also celebrate the rich tapestry of memories he leaves behind. May his laughter continue to echo in our hearts, his stories be retold with fondness, and his legacy of love and creativity inspire us all to live life to the fullest.

Your light will continue to shine brightly in our lives. We will never forget your infectious smile, which lit up every room you entered, bringing warmth and happiness to all who had the pleasure of basking in its glow. Rest in peace.
