Patricia A. Misch

Patricia A. Misch, 90 of La Crosse, passed away Thursday, January 23, 2020 at the Lakeview Healthcare Center in West Salem. She was born July 2, 1929 in La Crosse to Leonard and Dorothy (Morrison) Fema and attended Aquinas High School. On April 14, 1952 she married Stanley Misch in Rockford, IL and he preceded her in death on January 19, 2004.

Patricia was a homemaker who loved to cook. She made the most fantastic coleslaw and everyone wanted her recipe. She loved her family and enjoyed having big family dinners and cookouts. Her door was always open to all family and friends, especially at Christmas which was her favorite holiday. She loved her Catholic religion and prayed the rosary all the time. Patricia was chosen the grandma of the year by the Moose Lodge.

She is survived by four children; Shirley (Ron) Harker of Rockford, IL, James Misch, Ernest (Cindy) Misch and Annette Lawrence all of La Crosse; a brother, Jim (Shirley) Fema of La Crosse; 11 grandchildren, Rhonda (Tomas) Gomez, Janelle (Curt) Edwardson, Jamie (Becky) Misch, Ernie Larkin, Angie (Brad) Bruemmer, Tanya (Josef) Banasik, Megan (Tom) Jones, Nicole Lawrence, Aaron (Clay) Lawrence, Chris Lawrence and Kayla (Alex) Peterson; 19 great-grandchildren, Michael (Hailee), Tyler, Julien, Alex, Eli, Avri, Jack, Madison, Sam, Spencer, Keaton (Sadie), Kolton, Caleb, Cheyenne, Mekenzie, Wyatt, Tyadian, Tyoin and Tyleah; four great-great-grandchildren, Kai, Kato, Kali and Karson. In addition to her husband Stanley, she was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Steven Paul Misch; a granddaughter, Sheila Cox; a daughter-in-law, Julie Misch; a sister, Ivalyn Trucks; two brothers, Bill Fema and Ernie Domnie.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 A.M. Friday, January 31 ^st at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services, 200 West Avenue South, La Crosse with Deacon Richard Sage officiating. Burial will follow in Gate of Heaven Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the funeral home on Friday from 10:00 A.M. until the time of services.
