Pamilla Jean (Lindmark) Welch, 80, passed away peacefully on August 10, 2024 with her family by her side after a battle with cancer.
Pam was born on October 25, 1943 in Eau Claire, WI to Robert and Helen (Rasmus) Lindmark. Her family moved to La Crosse, WI where they spent many delightful days in their boat and the sandbars of the Mississippi River. She attended Central High School before moving to Fox Point, WI and graduated from Nicolet High School in 1961. Pam attended UW Madison and Marquette University where she graduated with a degree in Dental Hygiene. She worked as a dental hygienist for 40 years. Pam married her best friend, high school sweetheart, and soul mate Tedd Welch on September 7, 1968.
Pam had an incredible zest for life and a magical way of lifting up those who were around her. She adored her family and loved family gatherings. All the kids that knew her and visited her were always happy to see “Grandma Pam.” She always made sure everyone felt welcome. She was the social glue that held the family together. Pam cherished friendship and had a close-knit group of friends in Wisconsin and in Florida where she spent winters. She loved to travel and experience new adventures. Pam enjoyed playing cards and often relished winning, “yes!.” She was an avid sports fan and could often be found watching anything from girls softball to Packer football. Pam especially held dear the evening boat rides with her husband.
Pam is survived by her husband, and soul mate of 56 years, Tedd Welch; three children Chris (Kris Fitch), Mike (Michelle) and Tom. Granchildren Tyler, Hannah (Matt), Abby, Denver, Camille and Jaelyn. She is also survived by her brothers Bob (Chris) Lindmark, Bill (Pat) Lindmark, sister Debbie (Vicente) Castellanos, sister in laws Pam (Welch) Hauser, Karla (Doug Brandt) Welch and many nieces, nephews, grandnephews, grandnieces and other relatives and friends.
Pam was preceded in death by her parents Bob and Helen Lindmark, sister Schaarie (Lindmark) Di Antoni. Brother-in laws Sante Di Antoni and Jim Hauser.
