Nancy A. Wells

On Thursday, February 6, 2020, Nancy Wells, loving mother and sister, passed away at the age of 69. She was born on September 8, 1950 in La Crosse to Eugene and Alga (Herold) Wells.

Nancy was a woman with many passions. She surrounded herself with numerous pictures and filled every nook and cranny with nick knacks from her many shopping adventures. Nancy had such a creative eye. She used her artist ability to simply paint what she saw or tap into her seamstress skills to create a one of a kind looks. Throughout her three-and-a-half-year battle with cancer, Nancy remained a kind and compassionate spirit.

She is survived by a daughter Tracy (Don) Dolan, a son Scott (Lynda) Lawrence, three grandchildren, Hunter, Kara and Dale, two great-grandchildren, Luna and Hudson, two sisters, Jan (Jeff) Marson and Jeanine (Rex) Newcomer and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a sister Mary Pataska, a brother Eugene Wells Jr., and a special friend Sam Miller.

A gathering for family and friends will be held on Wednesday, February 12, 2020 from 4:00 – 8:00 PM at the Schumacher-Kish Funeral & Cremation Services of La Crosse. Special thank you to the amazing Gundersen 6 ^th floor staff and hospice care nurses.
