Monica M. Domke

Monica M. Domke, died at Hillview Health Care Center on May 2, 2021, three days before her 99 ^th birthday. She was the oldest child of Bernard C. and Magdalena (Penchi) Domke. She grew up on the family farm in Genoa, WI and attended St. Charles Catholic School. As an adult, she was a longtime member of St. Joseph the Workman Parish. She loved her Catholic faith, her family, her friends and her caretakers. She was quick to compliment others and to thank them for small favors. She loved children and complimenting them on their fashion sense. Monica shared a very special bond with her sister Rita and Rita’s son Mark and his family.

Monica is survived by a brother Bernard (Marilyn) Domke, along with many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by a brother Joseph (Margarite) Domke, two sisters Rita Nelson and Bernadette (Roy) Thesing.

A graveside service will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 15, 2021 at St. Charles Catholic Cemetery in Genoa, WI. Fr. Daniel J. Sedlacek will officiate. The family would like to thank Hillview Health Care Center for their loving care of Monica. The Schumacher – Kish Funeral & Cremation Services, La Crosse Chapel is assisting the family.
