Michael T. Devenport

Michael T. Devenport, age 50, of Holmen, WI, died on July 24 ^th , 2020 in Holmen. Mike was born in La Crosse, WI, to Mike and Linda Devenport on January 10, 1970. Mike was taken from us far too soon and will be forever missed by his family. If you knew Mike, you knew he enjoyed so much in life. He loved his job at Spee-Dee Delivery, and he made many friends there through the years. If you knew Mike, you knew he loved to joke around, his passion for playing poker, and you might see him out riding his Harley. Above all that, Mike’s biggest love was his family. Mike loved to cook for them, he loved taking care of them, and spending most of his time with them. Family was always first for Mike. His time, his friendship, his humor, his kindness, but above all of that, mostly it will be his love that will be missed forever.

Mike is survived by his wife, Michelle Devenport of Holmen; son, Christopher (Samantha) Devenport of Holmen; three grandchildren, Natalie, Ava, and Madison; father, Mike Devenport of La Crosse; one sister, Cherie Thiesen of La Crosse; one brother-in-law, Jack Seekamp of Holmen; and three sisters-in-law, Misty (Patrick) Watters of Sparta, Beth (Patrick) Shaw of Elroy, and Katie (Clay) Kalember of West Salem.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Linda Devenport; grandparents, Bob and Ruth Johnson of Stoddard, and Charlie and Dolly Devenport of La Crosse; and his mother-in-law, Mary Esser of Elroy.

A graveside service will be held at Onalaska City Cemetery on Saturday, August 8 ^th , 2020 at 10:30 a.m. Guests may arrive at 10:00 a.m. to visit with Mike’s family. In lieu of Flowers, memorials are preferred. Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services is assisting the family.
