Michael C. Osowski

Michael C. Osowski, 76, of La Crosse, died on Sunday, September 17, 2017 at his home. He was born on January 13, 1941 in La Crosse to Hubert and Florence (Lapitz) Osowski. Mike graduated from Aquinas High School in 1958, and served in the US Navy from 1959-1961. He married his high school sweetheart, Jane Compton, on September 15, 1962. Mike had worked as a plumber with Union Local 31 for many years. He was an avid duck hunter and fisherman, and enjoyed sports, especially watching his grandkids play.

He is survived by his wife Jane, three children, Vicki (Tony) Peterson, Greg (Beth) Osowski, and Lori (Tim) Kadlec, eight grandchildren, Ashley, Amy, Jena, Zack, Luke, Olivia, Sam, and Allison, twelve great-grandchildren, Tanner, Henry, Quinn, Aliana, Lucy, Julian, Orren, Jaxsen, Jonathan, Greyson, Ever, and Arrow, a sister Kathy (Mike) Sevallius, and a brother John (Catherine) Osowski. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister Sharon Hanson, his father and mother-in-law Oliver and Antoinette Compton, and a great-grandson Maven.
