Michael Steven Danielson

Michael Steven Danielson, 59, of La Crosse, passed away unexpectedly on Friday, July 9, 2021. Mike was born in La Crosse on July 30, 1961, to Mary Ann (Ganschow) and Richard Danielson. He attended Hogan Elementary and graduated from La Crescent High School. Mike married Lisa Koski and they welcomed their son, Devon, in July 1987. Mike worked for the City of La Crosse library system for over 25 years. He enjoyed golfing, riding his Harley, and telling a good joke.

Mike was preceded in death by his mother, Mary, and his grandparents, Ann and Raymond Ganschow and George and Gladys Danielson. He is survived by his son, Devon (Brittany Mighall); father, Richard; brothers, Eric (Robin) and Paul (Sarah); and two nieces and two nephews.

A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, August 29, 2021, at the La Crescent Area Event Center from 2:00 p.m. until 5:00 P.M. Memorials will be directed to the La Crosse Public Library system to support their youth programming. Schumacher-Kish Funeral and Cremation Services of La Crosse is assisting with arrangements.
