Maureen M. Gallup

Maureen Merle Gallup (Norman) passed away peacefully at Gundersen Health System in La Crosse on Friday, November 19, 2021.

Maureen was born September 25, 1948, in Washington State to Max and Jenny Norman. Maureen loved the outdoors, animals, birds and flowers, whether at the cabin or in her own backyard. Maureen had a green thumb, always working on her flower beds at home. She also greatly enjoyed taking Rusty for long walks in the nice evenings.

Maureen worked for St. Francis/Mayo Clinic for most of her adult life in many departments such as Medical Records and as a Front Desk Receptionist until she retired.

Maureen is survived by her husband, Carlyle Gallup, children Jeffrey (Shannon) Haas and their children Shawn Haas, Kaleb Jick, Kymberlie (Rory) Barrett and Giana Howe; Ryan (Brenda) Gallup and their children Jordan, Alicia and Samantha Gallup; Jodi Gallup and her children Calvin and Carson Myers; Katie (Todd) Stimac and their children, Logan, Hudson and Nolen Sauey and Annika, Griffin and Jackson Stimac, along with nieces, nephew and grand nieces she adored.

Maureen was preceded in death by her mother Jenny, father Max, brother Charles and sister Carol. In accordance with Maureen's wishes, a graveside service will be held in the spring, date to be determined. In lieu of flowers, Maureen requests for donations to be made to the Coulee Region Humane Society.
