Martha M. Bazis

Martha M. Bazis, 95 of La Crescent, MN passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018 at the La Crescent Health Services. She was born September 13, 1922 in Nebraska to Joseph and Mary (Hanis) Paseka.

Martha is survived by two children; Janine (Dave) Ausdemore of La Crescent, MN and Tim (Susan) Bazis of Plattsmouth, NE; six grandchildren, Jon, Rob, Brent, Tony, Ryan and Dustin; eight great-grandchildren; a sister, Marcie Masik of Omaha, NE and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband, William Bazis in 1999; a brother Frank and two sisters, Agnes and Mary Ann.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, June 12 ^th at the Church of the Crucifixion in La Crescent with Rev. Richard Dickman officiating. Burial will take place in Omaha, NE. In lieu of flowers memorials are suggested to Crucifixion School or Church.
