Mallery & Major Muenzenberger

March 24, 1996 — October 14, 2021

Mallery Mae Muenzenberger was born on March 24, 1996 to Michelle Allen and Paul Muenzenberger Jr. They divorced when Mallery was 3 years old. Paul married the love of his life, Mary Dremsa Muenzenberger who became Mallery’s loving stepmother. Mallery lived with her father and stepmother and attended West Salem Schools. She was active in extra curriculars of volleyball, softball, and band. Mallery loved art. As we went through her belonging’s we found many art projects and realized Mallery saw the beauty in life. Mallery loved the water. Some of her favorite summer activities included the water whether it was camping up north, fishing with her parents or convincing them they had to have weekend get- away anywhere with a pool. Mallery attended Western Technical College, her early aspirations were to become a nurse. Mallery would have made a wonderful nurse, she loved people. She had a way of making people laugh. She was always quick with her wit and humor.

On December 21, 2017 she was blessed with a son, Major Paul Harris, named after his grandfather. Major was her joy, her life, and her future. She loved this child. Mallery was a single mother, working two jobs at times to provide for her son. Major was a typical boisterous toddler full of energy! He loved the outdoors and playing in the mud and water. Major’s grandparents loved bringing Major to their home in the country and having him help gather eggs and tend to the garden. His grandfather was dedicated to "Showing him a strong male figure in his life that he could rely on and trust someday”. Major recently spent a weekend with his grandparents, fishing for the first time. He loved holding his own fishing pole and attempting to catch the big fish.

Mallery and Major were tragically taken from us on October 14, 2021 in the hands of domestic violence. Our family is heartbroken and left with a void that will never be filled. As it was a platform of Mallery’s since she was a teen, we will be donating funds to Domestic Violence Awareness in both of their honor.
