Levi Roger Beckstrom

Levi Roger Beckstrom passed away peacefully in his parents' arms early in the morning on August 26th, 2022. Levi was born a healthy baby to Jill and Andrew Beckstrom and big brother Mason on August 10th, 2022 in La Crosse, WI. They got to spend two days at home together as a family of four before Levi would spend the rest of his short time on Earth fighting a virus at Mayo Clinic in La Crosse and Rochester Mayo Clinic, Saint Mary's Campus. Levi fought so hard and touched the hearts of so many. The Beckstrom family would like to thank the Rochester Ronald McDonald House and the amazing care teams Levi had at both hospitals, who cried with them and treated Levi as their own. Special thanks are also given to Levi's Pediatric Cardiac ICU provider, Dr. Weatherhead, who came back after a 12-hour shift to be with Andrew, Jill, and Levi as he passed away.

Levi is survived by his loving parents Jill and Andrew Beckstrom and his proud big brother Mason Beckstrom of Holmen, WI; grandparents David and Kathy Manske of Chaseburg, WI, and Roger and Sarah Ondeck of West Salem, WI; Aunt Alena Froiseth and cousin Eve Froiseth of West Salem, WI; Uncle CJ Beckstrom of Madison, WI; Uncle Anthony Ondeck of La Crosse, WI; Aunt Dawn Manske of Minnetonka, MN; Aunt Darcy Manske of La Crosse, WI; Great Grandma Delores Manske of Chaseburg, WI; Great Grandma Beatrice Olson of Viroqua, WI and Geat Grandma Blanche Froiseth of Readstown, WI; along with several other loving Great Aunts and Great Uncles.

He was proceeded in death by his Grandpa Clayton Beckstrom, Great Grandpa Arlin Manske, Great Grandpa Leonard Olson, and Great Grandpa Arvid Froiseth.

A private family service will be held on Saturday, September 3rd.

The family would like to express their appreciation and gratitude to everyone who prayed for little Levi over the past 1 1/2 weeks and also for the outpouring of support they have received. Levi will forever be remembered and loved. Life is unpredictable and tomorrow is never promised, hug those loved ones extra tight today.
