Leslie A. Hirschuber, 86 of Brownsville, MN passed away at his home on Tuesday, August 17, 2021. He was born May 9, 1935, in Stoddard, WI to William and Daisy (Hart) Hirschuber.
On October 31, 1953, he married Marion Jostad in Brownsville and they were married for nearly 68 wonderful years.
Leslie had worked as an inspector for the La Crosse Trane Company for 43 years until his retirement in 1995. He was a member of St. Patrick’s Catholic Church in Brownsville, a Boy Scout leader, firearm safety instructor, proud Democrat, and a Union member. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
In addition to his wife Marion, he is survived by sons, Allan Hirschuber, and Mike (Linda) Hirschuber both of Hokah, MN, and David (Sompharanh) of Minneapolis, MN; a daughter, Jenny (Bob) Link of Mabel, MN; six grandchildren, Jason of Hokah, MN, Lori of Woodbridge, VA, Alisa of Mabel, MN, Bill (Sara) of Rochester, MN, Dan (Stephanie) of Stillwater, OK and Ryder of Minneapolis, MN; four great-grandsons, Liam and Lennox both of Stillwater, OK, Jamisen and Jaxon both of Rochester, MN; two sisters, Elsie Lennartz of Brownsville, MN and Carol Hirschuber of La Crosse along with three brothers, Danny Hirschuber of Machesney Park, IL, Jim Hirschuber of West Salem WI and Ray Hirschuber of Beloit, WI. He was preceded in death by his parents; five sisters, Fern Voves, Mary Breitsprecher, Alma Bautsch, Judy Juen and Beverly Robinson; a brother, William Hirschuber, Jr., and an infant brother George Hirschuber.
Memorials are suggested to Parkinson’s Disease Association, American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
