Laurie Faye Arnold

Laurie Arnold (Lyons), 66 of La Crosse, WI, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, June 7, 2023 after a courageous battle with cancer. Laurie was born in La Crosse, WI, on January 18, 1957 to James and Edith (Howard) Lyons and attended Onalaska High School. She married the love of her life; Eldon Arnold in September of 1986 and they had one daughter.  Laurie worked for many years as a bartender at Onalaska Legion Post #336 and was known for her witty one liners.

Laurie was most joyous hanging out at her cottage in Black River Falls, taking trips with her sister, daughter and friends, always finding a new hobby and cuddling with her dog "Meeko".

Laurie is survived by her daughter Jaime (Spencer) Ladsten, of La Crescent, MN, sister, Andi (Scott) Zonick of Appleton, WI, brother Jay (Diane) Lyons, aunt, Patty (Allen) Hundt, grandkids, Cameron and Eva, many nieces and nephews and her best friends Anne, Jeannie and Fan. She was preceded in death by her husband Eldon Arnold, brother Jeff Lyons, Parents, James Lyons and Edith Kofta and special friend Jim.

Visitation will be held from 5:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 14, 2023 at Schumacher-Kish funeral and Cremation Services; 907 Sand Lake Rd., Onalaska WI. 54650. A short burial service will be held the following morning at 11a.m. in the Onalaska Cemetery.
