Konrad enjoyed spending time with his family.  He adored his nieces and nephews.  He took pleasure in finding and collecting various sizes of die cast cars.  He was always ready for a new adventure going to car shows and swap meets across Wisconsin and Minnesota with his brother Jerry.  As a child he enjoyed fishing, auctions, Mabel Steam Engine Days, and spending time on his grandparents’ farm.

Konrad was employed by Northern Engraving in Holmen, WI for the last 27 years.  With the Holmen plant closing, Konrad recently started a new job at the Northern Engraving West Salem Plant.  He was proud of the fact that he never missed a day of work and would receive attendance awards at year end. He enjoyed his job and co-workers.  He would share many humorous stories of his days at work with his family and friends.

Konrad attended and graduated from Holmen High School in 1987.
